The Nissan Path

Hello All,
Please Help!!
I am in the UK and have a 2006 Pathfinder.
I had the dreaded leak in one of the aircon pipes going to the rear.
It was repaired but now is leaking elswhere.
I am fed up with it and wish to cap off both rear pipes and just
have aircon in the front.
Can anyone tell me what diameter the rear aircon pipes are and where
is the easiest and most accessable place to cap them off

The only place I can think of capping them off would be at the front where the rear lines connect without have them welded, which can be a dangerous propostion as freon is flamable.
