The Nissan Path

I picked up a 2011 Pathfinder that used to be a dealer loaner. They just sent me the owner's manual, but I can't figure out where it is intended to go. The "leather" holder that is meant to hold all the books has two velcro strips on the back, but I can't find any corresponding velcro anywhere else in the car. Does it just stick to the floor under a seat or something?

It's not a matter of life or death, but I'm wondering what the original idea was.
