At the moment I carry only a breaker bar, flashlight, knife and first aid kit. In my last two SUV's (Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot) I also carried jumper cables, road flares, tow strap. gloves, paper jump suit (to keep my clothes clean while changing a tire) screwdrivers, pliers, wire ties and a couple of things I can't remember right now. All of that stuff was hidden out of sight but the PF just doesn't have much in the way of storage areas. So I working on coming up with another solution to the storage problem.

jumper cables, tow strap, bottle jack (since the stock scissor won't raise with lift and bigger tires), breaker bar, portable air compressor (battery hookup only, 3x faster than CLA type, but still kinda slow on big tires), ratchet straps, gloves, metric+sae socket set, trashbags, bungie cords, bug spray, beer koozies, deicer-in-a-can, wd-40, tow ball hitch (i usually have a recovery hook installed), and i think that's it.

edit: oh and a moving blanket, beach towel, and if i go wheeling then an extra tow strap, extra 12v CLA type tire inflator, and come-a-long.

to give an idea about the CLA type vs battery tire inflators, i can inflate 2.5 tires from ~20psi to ~40psi with the battery hookup only one in the same time it takes the CLA type to inflate one tire (seriously i think it takes 30 minutes with the CLA style)

and i shove it all in this bag so it's not just all rolling around in back:

Back two seats, foldem down. See the side panels? Yeah the ones that are plastic with the cup holder and tray on each side. Yeah those. Pop out the cup holders with a screw driver, trays too. Both sides. See that? Lots of unseen storage. 👍👍👍 it is where I ran my power wires from my amp. Started there went all the way to the fire wall hidden. But yeah. You can fit all the tools you will ever need in there unseen and have all of your normal space.
