Sound pops and skips

My 2014 Platinum with GPS seems to have a bit of an issue with the stereo. Whenever I use my iPod through the USB and Bluetooth the sound pops and skips. I have 6 different ipod, ipad and iphone devices that I have tried this with and have also used different cables. It's rather annoying, it sounds as if you are running with an old discman that had no anti-skip memory. Another thing that happens is the satellite radio cuts off every now and then. This does not happen in my F150 truck. Any one else experiencing this?
