U.K. Spec sat/nav update?

So from the research I've done a new updated sat nav DVD from Nissan is like £150 or something, but they are on eBay for £10-25. Has anyone updated the stock sat nav on their pathy?? I have an 2007 and the current disc of from that year? Almost seems worth trying the eBay "knockoff" disc vs the super expensive one from Nissan... hopefully someone has an answer as a lot of road have changed in 9yrs. Thanks!
