Phone Connection Malfunction

2015 SL. When started the display states the phone is connecting, which it is not. Hitting the "hang up", or phone button on the wheel does not seem disconnect. Randomly pressing these and "AM/FM" and "Status" buttons will ultimately disconnect and the radio will return. Has anyone had this problem?
