The Nissan Path

Hello everyone,

I just purchased my first Nissan.. pre-owned 2015 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum, from CarMax. It has been just 2days, so, I am looking at every detail of the car, and found out one thing - under the 2nd row seats (when the seats are lifted up) the floor mats are cut. I don't think this is how it comes out of factory, so just want to make sure there is nothing wrong with this car.. I am uploading photos, please let me know how this compares to your car..

what it looks like to me is that there is a wire coming out of the floor, going into the car seat, since these are not power seats, so this should be for heated seats, atleast the wire looks like it.

Btw, ran into this post, looks like another guy had same question, and he found out that the floor model also has the same cut on carpet and staples. I am surprised to see that this is how it comes out of factory...

Do you guys also see a cut ?

Looks pretty hokey to me, but if thats the way they all are, at least its under the seat so you can't see it.
