Door handle ( rubber button ) removal

The rubber cover has split on the door handle for the keyless entry.
I can use the keyfob to get in but have order a new micro switch from dealer.
Question is does the innder door panel need to come off to change or just
Undo the cover on the side of the door and take out Allen bolt?
Any pointers we’ll welcomed many thanks in advance.
