Hey,
I have the stock Toyo Open Country tires on my 2015 Pathfinder. 48,000 K/m's and they're worn out. Seems like I should get longer out of these tires? Curious on anybody's thoughts.

Thanks

Not sure if you are in the right subgroup. You posted in the R51. I heard they are still some R51 produced somewhere but in US our last year was 2012.

RJ: Welcome to our board!!!! :D

yes its the wrong subforum but no big deal.

As for the tires I am not a friend of trying to get maximum milage out of them.
Sometimes the tread looks good but the carcass inside is coming apart.

48,000 km is lover 30,000 miles.
I would not feel like I am wasting money to replace them at this point.

I have had Toyo open country A30s on my pathy for a little over 2 1/2 years and I HATE them.

They have decent snow traction and OK off road performance BUT they wore out incredibly fast, like I have less than 30,000 miles on them. The tires are now wearing funny and I have a vibration between 60 and 70 mph. They are even exhibiting signs of dry rot! For reference I ran my Grabbers for 50,000 miles before changing them out.

The only reason I have them even though I ran the stock grabbers for years is because a buddy lifted his new Tacoma and gave me these for a song.

I'm guessing the non OEM Toyo open country tires should do better but man these A30s have really soured me on the brand.
