The Nissan Path

There have been a few times where the cargo I need to carry just does not fit completely inside the car. I know that exhaust gas is a concern and have the windows open to help keep the cabin air fresh.

Please let me know how you "secure" the lift gate when your cargo prevents closing it. I am looking for ideas or mods to make that will allow me to firmly "tie" down the lift gate.
