Ok here in the rundown. Car died suddenly and I got a crank angle sensor code. the timing belt was bad but when I took it off I messed with both cams and turned them without belt on. I lined up marks and all seamed fine then I was told I have to be a TDC on the compression stroke and adjust my distributor ( I had pulled that out and messed with it too) so my question is since I messed with both cams and turned them around a few revolutions do I have to adjust them each first before putting the new belt on and how?

Thanks

If you line up the timing belt marks with the painted lines on the timing belt and make sure the arrow painted on the belt is pointing forward and located between the two cam gears, the engine will be mechanically in-time. It should also be at top-dead-center #1 if the pointer on the lower cover lines up with the TDC mark on balancer after you align the marks and prior to you starting the engine. The valvetrain uses hydraulic lifters and there is no adjustment.
