Hey All. Going to tackle the front pads soon. Is there anything special I need to know or a thread I can be directed to? Thanks in advance.

Depends whether you plan to just replace pads, which is relatively simple, or if you also plan to remove/resurface or replace the front rotors, which involves removing the hubs and repacking wheel bearings. You should be able to get instructions in the "repair guides" section at Autozone.com.
