Well, my differential blew up (it's a LSD). I'm thinking about just finding an entire rear axle and replacing. How hard is that job? I have air tools, fwiw.

Replacing the diff is easier than replacing the axle, but in either case, you'll want to make sure you have the correct gear ratio. Replacing the axle on a WD21 is no harder than replacing the axle on any other truck.
