serpentine belt whirring noise

Not a squeak or a chirp but a whirring noise which I have narrowed down to the alternator belt. I've adjusted tension on it back and forth and still no luck. The noise kinda starts out low and becomes high pitched the gas I give it. I replaced the belts because the ac belt was squeaking. Now that went away and I'm 90 percent sure I didn't have this other problem before but noise was so loud from ac it's possible. Any help would be great
