Headliner parts question

I'm sure that everyone experiences that same issue of covering coming off the headliner pieces (that are on either side of the overhead light).

It looks like those pieces aren't in stock anywhere (understandably), but when they were available, what was the cost on them (retail)? And what is fair market value for them now if I go junkyard diving?

On a related note does anyone have a pair that aren't broken? If so, would you be able to part with them? Or if not sell them, would you be willing to loan them so that I can 3D scan them in an attempt to 3D print a reproduction?

Sounds like you are talking about the sun visors. They were color coded to match the interior, but, basically, 86.5-97 D21 Hardbody pickups and 87-95 WD21 Pathfinders should fit. Car-part.com is a good place to search for used parts and Ebay shows a few. Used, they typically sell for $25-$75 each, depending on color and condition, but I don't know what they ran for new other than that they were likely pretty expensive. I custom upholstery shop could probably restore your old ones.

Actually not referring to the sun visor. I am referring to the part that is listed as Garnish-Roof Center, Side LH & RH.
Parts diagram lists them as 73942N and 73943N. Which is funny because the part around the ceiling light also gets listed with the same number as the RH side roof panel.

Thanks for the lead on the site to check, looks like it might take some calling or digging to find the right piece since the descriptions on the parts there are somewhat generic.

I would have mine upholstered if it wasn't for the fact that the corners where they are held in place are the part that broke. :( I'm trying to figure out the replacement value since the individual that broke them said they would reimburse me for a full replacement.

OK, now I see what you are talking about! I actually have a 2002 Nissan Confidential Parts catalog that lists them. There are several different ones, depending on color and if it had a sunroof or not. If you gave me the specific part number, I could give you the suggested retail price (in 2002 US dollars) for when you could get one new. The driver sides ran about $66-$75. The passenger sides ran about $13-$32. It's difficult to find good plastic used parts that are 25 years old because they do tend to get brittle over time. I agree that 3D printing would be a good way to go. You could look up a generic part for your year Pathfinder (like a seat, for example) at Car-part.com to try and find salvage yards that have one or more WD21 Pathfinder(s) in stock and then call the junk yard to see if they have the part you are looking for per your vehicle. If you don't have the part, maybe you could take a picture of the part diagram or print it from NissanPartsDeal.com's site so that they can see what you are talking about. Even if it's the wrong color, you could always spray dye it or use it to make the 3D print copy, but make sure you specify if it's for a sunroof equipped model or not (you might try looking up "sunroof glass" at the Car-part.com site to find the appropriate model? Good luck!
