my motor blew yesterday and i was wondering if i could bolt a 2.4 in the place of my 3.0 if it will bolt to my tranny and if not what is the difference in the transmissions ?

No, the 4 & 6 cyl. transmissions aren't interchangeable. Why would you want to replace a VG30 with a 2.4L? Personally, I would get a VG33E to throw in there. They are usually cheaper to find than the VG30 and have a bit more power and it's an easy swap. Keep the manifolds from the 3.0L to use on the 3.3L. Keep in mind if you go with the 2.4L, you'll also have to change over the harness and ECM.
