The Nissan Path

Have a '94, hesitates and kicks especially during acceleration when engine warmed up, have bypassed EGR valve and seems better(not perfect), want to check EGRC-BPT valve as shown in diagrams but, cannot find it anywhere, was this valve, in fact, on the 94 and my pathfinder is Canadian, is it possible this device not on this engine. I'm convinced it is not there unless I have been inhaling too much brake fluid. Thanks a lot
