"AFH145M-15" may be the number on the part, but it's not a Nissan part number. Nissan part numbers are usually 10 digit numbers divided by a dash. The first part of the number is the part group, ie 15208-55Y00 would be the Nissan part number for you oil filter. The "15208" is the part group number and all Nissan oil filter part numbers start with that number. The "AFH145M-15" is likely a part manufacturer's number from whomever made the part, likely Hitachi or possibly Mitsubishi. "16078-12G00" is a valid Nissan part number for a Mass Air Sensor on a WD21 Pathfinder V6. The MSRP for the sensor is $377.70 but it can be found at online sources for cheaper. 1stAAANissanParts list it for $276.48+shipping. $90 is pretty cheap for a WD21 MAS because even the aftermarket units are typically $150+ for remanufactured units. Perhaps the $90 part is used? Since you didn't provide any information on your vehicle (year/engine) nor where your getting your part from, it's tough to provide you with any more info.

I found the MAF sensor above for your vehicle for $85.95 with free shipping made by Chandler Motorsports. Keep in mind a Nissan dealer is giving you a genuine Nissan part, which quality is typically excellant. It is very rate to have an issue with a brand new Nissan part. The #16078-12G00 is the correct Nissan part number for your vehicle. Aftermarket parts can vary greatly in price and quality and I know nothing of the quality of Chandler Motorsports parts, good or bad.
Rockauto has an Airtex/Wells brand new MAF sensor for $378, which is more costly than a genuine Nissan part you can get from an online dealer, such as
www.1stAAANissanparts.com. This is why it pays to shop arounds. So, what you have is a choice! You can pay almost $300 for a genuine Nissan part that you know is of good quality or gamble on the quality of a part that's made by an aftermarket company that's a fraction of the price.
