The Nissan Path

I asked the question some time ago about flat towing and got an answer..But I asked the question wrong !

I don't want to flat tow, I want to tow dolly my 1992 PF 4x4 5 speed on a tow dolly about six hundred miles... Question is where should the transfer case be positioned for the trip. Is it 2 wheel high as it would be for flat towing ?

I would put the transfer case in "neutral," which would keep it from turning the transmission. You just have to remember to re-engage the transfer case when you take it off the tow dolly.
