1998 Pathfinder oil leak

My 98 pathfinder drips oil and its coming from right in the centre of the car underneath the belt and also my alternator has a bunch of oil on it. what could it be?"

Anything oily higher up? That would be a valve cover gasket. My guess is the oil pan gasket near the front (fan would blow oil around to the side/back).

No there isn't anything oily higher up just underneath the belt i would say.

That would probably be the front seal in the oil pump housing.
