Temp Sensor feeding overhead console intermittent-compass ok

04 pathfinder front temp sensor (feeding overhead console) intermittent. Have taken apart both sensors (front of radiator) and cleaned. Sometimes bright most times nothing. Cannot find tech details on these two sensors. Help in shooting problem appreciated..mostly annoying.
