The Nissan Path

After running my 31x10.5x15 for a while I'm now seriously considering the move to 265/75/16.I have a couple questions
1) I'd like to use a 16x8 wheel.Is this too wide?
2) When I order the wheels should I ask for 3.75" backspacing?That seems to be the number I find everywhere for these trucks.
3) Where can I buy a set of wheel spacers and would a 1" set be enough?

My 97 Pathy has 2" spacers front and rear and I bought it to use it in the bush.

I have a set of 16" mud tires that Id like to mount on my 97 Pathfinder.I'm looking for some cheap 16" rims.I'm running 2" Fleury spacers and am concerned about the clearance between the top of my tire and the bottom of my strut.Will stock aluminum's be fine for this combination.My current wheels are the 15x6 stockers with 31s and there's barely any clearance as is. I have a chance to buy some stock 16s but don't want to waste my money.
