Interior lighting

Somewhat disappointed about lack of interior lighting in the Pathfinder. Entering at night, it is pretty dark inside even with the dome lights on in the center of the vehicle and the cargo area.

Anyone add foot well lighting that comes on when you open the door? Not a big fan of having to turn on and off the map lights. My eyes are not what they once were....

Any tips on replacing a couple of lights on the AC/Heater control? The lights behind the mode and fan speed switch are not working.

Great forum and appreciate all the tips!

The bulbs for the heater control are available from Nissan. There's a difference in part number depending on whether you have the dial type control head or the push button face style. It's not too bad a job. The center stack finisher needs to be removed and the control head is held in with Phillips head screws.
I know some have used LED bulbs in the dome lights to brighten things up a bit.

I replaced the dome lights with LED bright white bulbs that I bought on Ebay. They're much brighter, cooler and, less likely to run down your battery if you accidentally leave them on overnight.

I'd like to see what it looks like with the LED lights. I'm about to do the same thing.
