The Nissan Path

Hello Everyone, I have a 97 Pathfinder. I need to replace the original rear glass support strut. The part I got online did not come with the bracket where it's connected to the body.

Does anyone know how to remove the strut from the bracket? the guy from the dealership service said it should be removable. If someone has done this before please show me the trick. Thank you very much.

Usually there's a spring clip around the end that you can pull up on with a small screwdriver and will allow the strut end to lift off of the ball stud on the bracket. The new one should just pop on the ball stud with a little push.
