New (to me) Pathy with some gremlins

Hey everyone,
I've run into similar stories to mine but not quite there. I picked up an 02 Pathfinder last week. I love driving it, but it has some issues.
I noticed the radio (Bose 6 CD) would not work unless you turn it to accessory and give it a few seconds before turning the radio on. Once the engine is on, volume controls won't work. Also if I use the steering controls, it will cut off. I suspected the battery (which was in bad shape) and replaced it. It worked for a day. I checked the alternator and it's fine.
Also, the instrument cluster, which was out on the right side, started working, but that ended as well.
One more thing...i tried operating the sunroof while in accessory, and it would only move for 2 seconds at a time.
Anyone dealt with these before? Any solutions? I suspect more of a power issue than anything. Fuses maybe? All help is appreciated.
