Left front wheel bearing loose?

I had a service the other day and the shop told me I had a loose front left wheel bearing. I'm planning on changing my break pads and while I'm in there I'm thinking of tightening the loose bearing.
I've no idea how to go about this, does anyone have any resources to show me how to do this? Or a video you could like to that you can point out how to do it in?
