I had read a specification years ago for my '02 Pathfinder but couldn't find it again. It was on an Australian website. There is an opening specification of the "fully closed" throttle which requires a precision cylindrical plug gage for measuring the opening. When the throttle valve is fully closed, the factory preset is actually just slightly open. To measure and set this opening, a plug gauge the size of a thin needle is used but I can't recall what that specification is. There is a basic best practice setting you will find for this and most any other throttle bodies which is to bring the stop screw firmly up against the stopper arm of the closed throttle and then turn the screw 1 to 1.25 turns clockwise to open the throttle to its "fully closed" position.
