Stump on idle issue

Lately I have been dealing with idle issues on my 1997 Nissan Pathfinder SE, no CEL (check engine light) on the cluster. It starts normal and runs great, however once I am driving back home I tend to see that it starts to misfire and low idle. Yesterday I took apart the intake duct from the intake manifold, I clean the manifold, and put it back together. All hoses connected, new air filter, and manifold clean. Took it for a run last nigh and ran great, today I was on my way back home from work (about 12 mile drive) and just before getting into the highway - the rough idling began again. The car did not turn off however it just began to rough idle. Gave it some gas and ran great, ran with no issues in the highway, once getting into my driveway - rough idling began again. Anyone know what else can it be?

That EGR valve hose you discovered to be missing is probably the idle issue cause.

I did put a bolt on the throttle opening and it stabled out - however it still misfires here and there. Now the other issue is that I might have to change the spark plugs but no codes on the OB2 with the random misfire at all. I went back on my e-mails and the last time I changed my spark plugs were in 2017 with the Nissan parts, I am tempted to inspect them and see if that is an issue.

No idea what this means. Can you attach a picture of it?

So turns out that the spark plugs were full of carbon 5/6 of them and 1 was normal. Presuming that the air filter was never changed must of cause all this issue all this time.
