The Nissan Path

the fluid level seems right up to where it should be, but the steering just seems real slow and heavy... does it have a filter? should I just flush the whole thing and see what happens? thanks for any advice guys

so I figured it out... the shock tower apron is separating from the unibody frame. the inner fender/apron is rubbing on the steering shaft..... a lot bigger problem than a power steering pump, but I guess it looks fixable and for an ok price.
