Air conditioner/heater will not turn off

I have a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. The air conditioner/heater will not turn off. The fan continues to run at it's highest setting even though it's turned off? How can I fix this problem?

Pull out your fan switch... Fairly common problem... There are 2 main power feeds into the switch. One will get hot and melt the internals of the switch if the fan has been run on low speeds most of its life...
I had the same problem. Replaced the switch with a new one and problem solved!
