i Have a 97 pathfinder and just recently my power locks stopped working all at once. the keyless entry doesnt work as well as the switch on the drivers door. so i have no power locks at all. where should i start? what can i look for?

Sounds like the master switch on the drivers door has gone bad.

Yes, all the doors run thru that switch. You may wan to check for a used one. I think they are kind of pricey.

this is the exact same problem. even though its obviously a different car but the exact same problems (besides the dome light) with none of the power locks and the rear defroster not working. what do you think? http://x.nissanhelp.com/forums/sentra/1 ... oster.html

That's a possibility. Do the power locks and windows work on the other doors from the their individual switches?

no none of the power locks work anywhere on the car. but all the power windows work
