Spare tire hoist

Someone cut the chain on my spare tire hoist (2002 Path), and stole my spare. Got a new spare and rim, and found a decent price on a replacement from a 2004 Pathfinder. Does anyone know if the 2004 spare tire hoist will fit a 2002 as well?
