P1130 Code (MAF) = limp home mode

Just an FYI: I generated the P1130 code by starting the engine without the air filter to intake ducting connected. I had finished changing the plugs and wanted to be sure they were all firing before buttoning it up. I learned from this that it won't run very good unless the ducting is in place. It took awhile, but I found "Telemongo's" Jan 2010 post on the subject. Went to the auto store and bought a $50 code reader that confirmed P1130 and erased the code. Ran great once the code was cleared. Hope this fix works for you.
PS- You may want to consider generating this code if your handing your (2004) Pathfinder off to a new driver. It's a great govenor, running great up to half-thottle. It'll teach patience, fuel economy (no kidding) and may keep someone from wrapping themselves around a pole. Don't tell my 14 year old about this though...
