Steering Wheel Shake

This is so irritating! I just bought a 2001 Pathy LE. The thing drives great except for one thing....the steering wheel shakes when going over bumps. Now I know thats going to happen some, but this thing is really weird. It has new tires and everything and the steering wheel doesn't shake at all at any speed on a smooth surface or when braking. I've noticed that just small bumps seem to make it shake worse than big bumps. What in the world could this be? Front struts? Its been to a front end shop. Everything is tight and seems normal. I would really appreciate any help with this! Thanks!

Yea, with it only being over bumps it seems like the struts would be the problem (since everything else is tight and looks normal). Its just really weird. I'm going to take a look at them when I get home!

Took a look at it last night...the passenger side front strut is all wet and nasty looking. Looks like I need to replace it.

My struts came in today. I got KYB GR2's. If anyone needs any Amazon has the passenger side for $20.61! Only a few left.

This completely fixed the steering wheel shake! The passenger side strut was completely frozen. It's like new now. The only irritating thing is that we set the steering wheel perfectly straight for the alignment and its still cocked to the left a little bit when driving. But I guess I can deal with that since the wheel doesn't shake anymore.
