Hi, I'm wiring in a 7 way trailer connector and a brake controller, and I noticed under the hood in the one fuse box that there is an empty spot for a 20amp trailer tow fuse, can anyone tell me what this fuse is for? Also where is the easiest way to run 2 12ga and one 10ga wire through the fire wall? Thanks for the help

empty as in you could just put a fuse in or empty as in there is no socket to put the fuse in?
If the first one, then I'd suggest you are going about this the wrong way, and there may be an adaptor harness you can get to convert your truck over instead of hardwiring as you are suggesting.

Yeah its the socket with no fuse. I've tried doing some research to see if there is factory wiringbut it doesn't seem like this year of pathfinder had it. I could be wrong, maybe someone on here knows something different, it would great

There's a 4-pin trailer wiring harness that is available for the R50's and the fuse is used for it. Here's a link to the kit:

Do you know if that kit is just for the lights or does it include 12v power and/or brake controller wiring? I already had a flat four connector, so I added an adapter to 7 blade connector and mounted under the bumper, so I do have lights, but if this kit gives me my other connections that would be great and would save me running more wires. Thanks!

As far as I know, it's just a 4-pin trailer harness kit.
