Warm manual hub problems?

I have been looking into swapping to the warn manusl hubs. I read a post somewhere saying that this is bad for the tranny/ transfer case because if the shafts are disengaged and not spinning, they are not lubricating the tranny. It said that the shafts run a pump in 2wd that lube the discs that engage 4wd. Anyone know if there is any truth to this? I have read about tons of people happy with no problems from the swap?

That would be the first time I've ever heard of that! The axle shafts have nothing to do with the lubrication of the transmission, be it manual or automatic.

If you do this please post details as I think its worth doing to stop the drag and wear on the drive shafts and hub bearings.

I have WARN hubs on my truck and you can always engage the hub and drive straight for a few hundred yards to lub the front. Do this once a month or once every couple months is good if you don't engage 4x4 much.
