Best shocks for a '99

Hey everyone!
Im wondering what the best kind of shock/suspension kit to get on my Path?
Im hoping to get this thing up some of the rougher steeper trails in CO, both for camping, and rockhounding.
Anyone have experience first hand they can lend me?
Right now hitting a bad bump or pot hole pretty much shatters my teeth, so if this is indicative of a bigger problem, I'd love to know!
