The Nissan Path

I have an O4 Pathfinder and the wipers intermittently stop in the straight up motion, stay that way a couple of minutes then start to work again. Any idea what it could be? Thank you.

Usually that's a sign of a bad wiper amplifier. On many older Nissans, the wiper amp is a separate module. On the 04 Pathy, it's built into the combination switch (aka wiper switch). Without doing circuit tests, one can't say 100%, but it's likely a bad combination switch assy.
