Error message accessing site

I have been getting errors when trying to access this forum sporadically for the past several months. The error I get is as follows:
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/nissan/public_html/db/mysql4.php on line 48

Warning: mysql_error() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/nissan/public_html/db/mysql4.php on line 330

Warning: mysql_errno() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/nissan/public_html/db/mysql4.php on line 331
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database
I get it on multiple computers, Firefox and IE, at home and and at work, so I don't think its a browser issue or hardware issue.

Anybody else get this? Usually if I keep trying, or wait a few minutes and try again, it starts working again. Too many people on the forum? A good problem to have, if thats what the issue is.

I'm guessing to many Pathfinder addicts online...

I just wait 5 mins and try again
