Safari rack on pathfinder?????

Has anyone ever removed factory roof rack and installed a safari rack directly to the roof mounts? I dont really like the way they look mounted to the rack. It seems like it can be done. A company called Defender makes a nice looking rack and I think with some mods I could make beakers for it. Anyway if anyonehas done this I would love to see some pics and get some insite. Thanks

This is the best safari basket money can buy. If you're serious about getting off-road and carrying lots of gear, buy this.

It doesn't mount into the factory mounting locations. It is, however, supported by the roof along the entire length of the mounting track. It's the strongest system in the world for the Nissan Pathfinder. I LOVE mine.
