cargo covers? not a cargo liner...........

Postby tariqhu9 » Fri Mar 26, 2010 9:11 pm

That may not be what they're actually called, but I'm looking to find a cover for the 3rd row seats. Say my wife goes shopping and needs to hide the bags while the 3rd row seats are folded.

Is there such a thing?

Australia may have them for the 05+ Pathfinders. How they fit, I don't know.

What you could do is measure the length and width of the cargo area. From there, head over to a home hardware store and get a pull down shade and accessories to make it work.

I wanted to get one of these too... I'm seeing the same thing, can't seem to find it anywhere online...

I too have the cutouts in my cargo area for a cargo cover (or Cargo Blind, as it's referred to on Nissan AU)

Hope someone finds it...

have to wonder why the cutouts are there... REALLY NISSAN.... REALLY....

i just find it funny that i can get a hatch tent but not a cargo cover...ha!

The U.S. production models dont have the side panels with the correct notches to fit it. Others have been thru this before and figured out that some overseas models have the cargo cover option but the side panels are differerent.

I just sent a message to Nissan asking them why they decided to have these cutouts for a cargo blind and not offer it as an accessory...

I guess that's something to consider.

I never thought about those vehicles have a cover.

Someone above says the cut-outs are in the back, but I'm wondering........the only cut-outs I see are for the 3rd row seat beat to be moved out of the way.

Am I missing something?

When we owned a Honda CRV, that car did not come with a tonneau cover for the rear of the vehicle. When I spoke to the dealer about getting a cover on it, they said that they had them in stock and that it wasn't a big deal to put them on.

They said that they had to MODIFY THE EXISTING PANELS IN ORDER TO FIT THE TONNEAU COVER MECHANISM. In the end it involved drilling some holes for the mounting brackets.

I wonder if the PF's in AUS are like that or do they actually have different rear panels that are designed just for the tonneau cover?

:?
