Odometer rollback?

Is it possible for a crooked dealer to roll back on the digital OD on a 05 path??? :?:

I don't think so... but check the door pillar to see if the speedo has ever been changed.

Mine was, at 59000kms. So now it reads 41000kms, even though I am close to 100000.

There is a label that details the change. Its a legal requirement.

With the Consult 2 or 3 I'm sure the dealer can do whatever they want. It's probably not quite as simple as finding the location in the ECM/Cluster and bam, it's rolled back. But there have to be provisions out there to make this happen. IE: if your cluster was defective and had to be replaced the new odo can be programmed to match the old one.

i believe if u put the od in test mode it will tell you the serial number of it and im sure you can compare the number to some label on the truck
