Lift questions

Postby scotto4825 » Tue Jun 09, 2015 8:37 pm

Thinking about adding a little lift to the pathfinder. I have a white 2008 LE V8.

What I plan on doing.

Rancho rs999938 quick lift for the front

rancho rs70077 for the back

air lift 60810 1000 spring kit in the back as well

Im currently running goodyear ATS 275/65/18

I was wondering if anyone is running the same and if they have pics as well. Would love to see how it looks if not the same kit one that would look like it.

Anyone have any problems after the kit?

has anyone just done the quick lift and if so how do it look?

would anything need to be different because its a V8 vs V6.

I have the competition suspension package from 4x4parts.com and a body lift.

I have exactly that setup (although I'm not sure if quick lift means the loaded quicklift) and like it. I'll try to post some pictures; you'll be able to get a good idea of the difference since I'm still on stock tires unfortunately. I don't have a photobucket thingy yet to post pictures though, so don't hold you're breath until I post them.

Ok, only took about a month, but I finally set up photobucket, so here goes my first attempt at posting a picture:

Luckily, there happened to be a spot in front of that silver LE, which I assume is stock. You can see the difference pretty clearly, even with stock tires.

If the Rancho unit comes with springs already installed, that's the QuickLift Loaded. For the rear, others use the rancho rs70077 and some guys use the RS9000XL shocks to get the stance they want for their Path. You can try http://4wheelonline.com/Rancho_Shocks.334 because looks like they have good prices.

So what height body lift are you running? I was thinking the same suspension kit as you and a 2" body lift as well. do you forsee any issues? Will the stock brake lines reach?

Here's mine with the same set-up you're talking about. I only have 17" wheels though

There's no body lift. Just the 2" quick lift which is what you mentioned. I did by the 2" spacers for the rear to level it. but its a 2" total lift, not 4". With the bigger tires I put on its actually 3" higher than stock.
