Retrofitting Headlights with HIDs 2012 Pathy

Hi Everyone!

I fairly recently acquired a new-to-me 2012 Pathy S and itching to put a few personal touches on it. First thing I am installing are yellow fog lights and also want to change up the headlights to a) give the it more of a personality and b) to get better light output
I have scoured ebay / AliExpress and online stores for headlights and what has caught my eye are retrofits that people have been doing for their lights.
Has anyone had any experience with it, have a quick guide or can share a few tips?

From what I understand is that people retrofit Lexus lights and some get very creative with devil / angel eyes, etc.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Many people seem to complain about the expensnse or mixed results from many retrofits that attempt the change the technology.

One of the simplest solutions I have found is this,.. it gives a noticable amount of extra light yet still lasts a fair amount of time:
