without adding a aftermarket tranny cooler I wouldn't try to tow much, the autotragics in these are known to go easily without some extra cooling help. That being said I used to tow a 19' ski boat around for about 2 summers. Don't plan on going anywhere real fast though, the 3.0 MPFI in these put out a whopping 154 horsepower, not so great to be towing stuff with. I think the factory limit was rated at 3500 lbs. In the end, yes my tranny blew, although not while towing anything, got it rebuilt and am more careful now :)

Ha yeah mine felt strained just trying to pull a 600 pound four wheeler and a 5 gallon gas can on a 5x14 trailer. So yeah they aren't the best when it comes to towing. A transmission cooler is a must though. I don't even really tow anything and I installed one on mine. Just make sure you bypass the factory tranny cooler in the radiator as they have been known to clog up and ruin transmissions.
