Just bought a 2013 Can-Am Outlander DPS 500 and a Carry-On 5x8 trailer. Took it out for a spin today for the first time.

Towed well never short on power fells a little more frantic then the old V8 Mountaineer but very stable.

Got about 13.5mpg towing at 80mph on the highway & 25% backroads

Great day riding.

Sure was. My bike is plated so i ride anywhere but my buddy has the quad so figued would try Lost Trails. Not bad but super rocky. Rode everything by lunch. Need to find a less rocky place for my kids to ride.

Yes that's at the "Top of the World"

I was at Lost Trails about a month ago. Got lost coming back from the Lake. I ended up in the "Boulder Crawl" section. Not fun! :x I was yelling "Oh Sh!t" every time a rock scrapped up my under carriage

Lol. Just about!

7.5x14 w high ceiling. Steel frame. Loaded up she probably weighs close to 5k lbs. I can definitely feel it back there but with electric brakes, airlift 1000 and weight distributing hitch she does okay. Crazy steep hills can be an issue though.

Saw 240 degrees on the transmission last week when pulling up a 25mph 1st gear mountain. EESH! Not fun.

About 4200 lbs. FYI I do have airbags installed. I have only towed it a few hundred yard from dry storage to the ramp and back. I did tow it about 55 miles to a marina to have a swim platform installed. I would not want to tow this a long distance.
