What is the proper way to check the transmission fluid level

Postby porksoda » Wed May 21, 2014 5:03 pm

I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on how to correctly check my transmission fluid on my 06 Pathfinder?

I read through the owners manual but I could not find anything.

Thank ya!

Also what transmission fluid should I use to top off?

I seen at the parts store that there is a "Nissan" specific transmission fluid. Is it fully required or can I use any ATF fluid.
Thanks!
