Those pics look like you guys had mice living in the vents. It's happened to me before in other cars... like finding a nice little mouse nest in the glove box, haha.

+1 - had this problem on my 08 civic. I put mouse traps in for a week, caught three of the buggers! Seems to have subsided now.
