3" body lift is a terrible idea, weakens the mount and looks like shit (everyone can see your frame, and knows it a cheap shitty lift). 1" is less scary, easier to work on drivetrain and helps clear tires. That said geometry/bracket lifts are just as bad and way more expensive, get 2"...

My Raybestos Advanced Tech rotors and pads just arrived for front and rear: $250 shipped with Amazon Prime.

Non-slotted, ceramic, I'll let you know after I get them on this weekend.

they all said it was a decent crossover but off-road it sucks. this came up as a suggestion on the sidebar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bpoV5KzlkY try that in a R52, and that guy was a bad driver. I hate Jeeps but 30 mpg diesel, decent approach and departure angles, available locker... might be ...

problem is you gotta do a rear SAS as well. If I felt like I needed 35s, I'd get a long travel kit. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j259/petty9/IMG_0772.jpg http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/602231_10200653349437488_1542706207_n.jpg Geometry/bracket lifts are garbage. installed the 5100s on the 3rd notch, probably about 3/4" lift over the Off-Road's already leveled stance. pics: coil and strut, before I used the floor jack to compress the coil. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-nQa1FEK_MqM/US5vGMUTn2I/AAAAAAAAAQM/jWQLueI8m3o/s640/image.jpg installed https:/...

Local shop wanted $220 to install, I've done a couple Toyotas but I hate using the strut compressor. I saw a vid a while back about a dude getting it done without one on a Tacoma, looked safer and faster. I found it and copied his process for the Pathfinder. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=vkVLBOnAif...

All I hear is bunch of whiners in this forum about how the New R52 Pathfinder is a piece of junk. Let me ask you this....where the hell were you when Nissan was complaining that the R51 was not a big seller. The last time I checked there was a dozen with thousands of dollars off sitting in the lot....

Hey guys, if you ever think about taking your rigs off-road, I would not buy any of the brush guards posted in this thread. They destroy your approach angle and offer zero protection. They are commonly referred to as "damage multipliers" because once they get hit, they fold back and damage...

well you guys are a ton of help. after reading a bunch on drilled/slotted, and since I do some moderate water crossings and expo wheeling adventures I chose to go with a solid rotor and ordered Raybestos Advanced Tech pads and rotors from Amazon. I will update this thread after fitment. http://www.a...

Best pads and rotors?

Gonna order soon, any significant upgrades over stock or cheap places to order from?

Thanks.

The lines don't make any sense on that TAG bumper, horrid departure angle and a proboscis for a receiver hitch.

Looks ugly and functions shittily? Pass.

Re: I know what you mean..

I bought my 06 path. used from a dealer. The previous owner installed some kind of turbo on the engine and it just flies past the street racers. I have no problems merging onto the highway and it's a great feeling. Sometimes feels like I'm in Ferrari with the take off speed. Yeah..... So I'm gonna ...
