I purchased an 05 Pathfinder LE with 43k miles for my wife. Book value at the time was $21,000. Dealership was asking $19,500. Purchased for $16,000. Gotta love the SUV deals when the the gas prices are high!!!
The day after the purchase, I put on tint (20% around the back, 35% on both front windows and down the whole front windshield), added an alarm with remote start, Pioneer D3 with XM satellite and back up camera. Also put in yellow fog lights, but that's about it.
She/We use it for baby haulin' now that we have a 4 month old daughter. Figured the wife needed something bigger than her 02 Camry.
On a side note... I noticed this forum is pretty slow... But still a bunch of good information!!! I've always been in to modding cars, but I'm going to try and take things slow with the path. Looking to lower it soon and possibly some rims.
